What is the best place to advertise for a piano and voice teacher?

I’m a piano and voice teacher and have been building a clientele for a good two years now and have about 25 students. I’m trying to reach around 40 students but seem to continually linger around this level. Any other piano or voice teachers out there who advertise? Where do you advertise? I’ve been thinking a few church bulletins. Newspapers are pricey, but i could for a short while. Any suggestions would be handy.

I give piano lessons. I post my opening on my facebook page. I print flyers and hang them up on community boards at places like Starbucks and Panera Bread. I live in a large private neighborhood and I put flyers in the newspaper slots of the mail boxes. I have business cards that I pass out to everyone. (try vistaprint for 250 free business cards) You may try offering a discount to current students who bring other students to you. good luck!
